A Better Way to Grow Teachers
Hello! My name is Chase.
I dedicate my time to creating classrooms that are productive, inspiring, and engaging for both students and teachers.
I achieve these goals by positioning teachers to do three things:
- Focus on what they value most—generating that human data that tells them they are achieving productive and equitable outcomes in their classes.
- Seek new vantage on their professional identity by learning to see class from the student perspective.
- Build relationships and cultivate a tenacious community of support where teachers are active partners in each other’s professional growth.
Happier teachers make better teachers.
As a leader, you want your teachers to show up to school
energized and feeling good about the work they’re doing because
you know that happier teachers are better teachers.
But as you know, many teachers are feeling discouraged and
overwhelmed, and burnout is becoming a real problem. Perhaps
you’re even facing staff shortages.
My new book, The Imperfect and Unfinished Math Teacher, is
designed to boost teacher morale by helping you create a culture of
professional learning where teachers are nourished and have the
desire to flourish as imperfect and unfinished human beings.
